Utah Fall Vacation Rental
Fall is a spectacular time of year in Utah to have a vacation. The weather is mild and the fall colors all over the state are gorgeous. It is one of our favorite times of the year to be outside and enjoy outdoor recreation with our families. It is a great time of year for hikes in the mountains, ATV rides, weekend fishing trips, and mountain bike rides. Here are some of our favorite spots to enjoy the gorgeous natural beauty and fall recreation.
The north slope of the Uinta Mountains is spectacular any time of the year, but in the fall the mountain sides are full of color, the wildlife is active, the fishing is great, and the weather is mild. The Black’s Fork River Lodge is near the Meek’s Cabin Trailhead and is a great spot to gather your loved ones together and explore the north slope of the Uinta Mountains. Silver Springs Lodge is near Lake Creek Canyon and is a great spot for seeing the fall colors and exploring the Uinta Mountains.
The south slope of the Uinta Mountains is a little less popular than the north slope, but equally beautiful and great recreation. Falcon’s Ledge Lodge is at the base of Rock Creek Canyon and is a great spot to access the south slope of the Uinta Mountains for hiking, fishing, and exploring. Hidden Springs Lodge and Six Lakes Resort are also great spots and are just down the road from Lake Fork Canyon and Moon Lake. Families staying at the spectacular Hidden Springs Lodge can drive up and see the fall colors, hike, and fish.
Zion National Park is beautiful any time of year, but in the fall, this is one of the most beautiful areas in the United States with the huge red rock canyons and the gorgeous fall colors. The Cliff Dwellers Retreat and Saint George River Home are just down the road from Zions National Park. There are amazing properties with private pools and are the perfect spot to have an amazing vacation while enjoying Zion National Park in the fall.
Moab has many spectacular areas to explore, but in the fall, you can see Arches National Park one day and then go hiking and mountain biking in the amazing fall colors the next day in the La Sal Mountains. Slick Rock Lodge just south of Moab is in a perfect location to enjoy this amazing time of year in Moab.
Kanab is a spectacular area, and during the fall the colors and the weather is just about perfect. You can explore the Cedar Breaks National Monument and Bryce Canyon National Park and see the amazing colors they have to offer one day and the next day hike Buckskin Gulch or the Grand Canyon just south of Kanab. Grand Plateau Lodge and Juniper Hills Home in Kanab will be a perfect vacation rental to explore this magnificent area.
