Utah Winter Recreation Lodge

Utah Winter Recreation Lodge

Northern Utah is continuing to have a great winter with plenty of great, powdery snow to play in. Southern Utah is having mild weather this January with daytime temperatures around 60 degrees.  No matter whether you love to play in northern or southern Utah this winter has been a great one for winter recreation. You can enjoy all the winter recreation Utah has to offer at one of our winter recreation lodges around this amazing state.

Black’s Fork River Lodge is just over the Utah/Wyoming border and is at the base of the highest mountain range in Utah, the Uinta Mountains. This makes Black’s Fork River Lodge the perfect spot to stay to explore these beautiful mountains on snowmobile, cross country skis, or snowshoes. This area is full of spectacular scenery and beautiful wildlife. The lodge is on the Black’s Fork River and makes it perfect for seeing wildlife along the river and sitting in the hot tub at night while the snow lightly falls and the river flows by.

Silver Springs Lodge in the Heber and Park City area is perfect for those groups looking to experience the world-class skiing of Utah. Park City is only about 30 minutes from the lodge and has some of the best ski resorts in the United States. The Soldier Hollow cross country ski venue is just down the road and is one of the winter Olympic venues for cross country ski events. The lodge is beautiful and private and is perfect for any group up to 40 people.

Falcon’s Ledge and Six Lakes Resort are perfect for groups looking for a large private property to fish, hike, and play in the snow. These two resorts are for fishing and hunting enthusiasts. They are large fishing resorts that you can come and fish and view wildlife in complete privacy. Just down the road from these lodges is a world-class bird hunting preserve that is open all winter for those that want to get some hunting in during their Utah winter lodge vacation.

Southern Utah is wonderful in the winter with mild temperatures and great hiking. Slick Rock Lodge in Moab is wonderful in the winter for groups wanting to experience winter at Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Grand Plateau Lodge in Kanab is an amazing spot to stay to experience southern Utah recreation in the winter. It is centrally located, so it is easy to explore Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and Grand Staircase National Monument from this Utah winter recreation lodge. The River Home and Cliff Dwellers Retreat are amazing lodges in Saint George, Utah to explore Zion National Park and Snow Canyon State Park.
