Utah Summer Recreation Lodge
Summer is an amazing season in Utah. Both northern and southern Utah have amazing summer recreation and endless adventures for those that would like to get out and explore in Utah during their summer vacation. Here are some of our favorite spots in Utah for summer recreation and adventure.
In northern Utah the Uinta Mountains are the highest mountain range in Utah. They have spectacular scenery and endless outdoor recreation. Summer is the perfect time to explore the Uinta Mountains and enjoy some mountain recreation. The south slope of the Uinta Mountains in northeastern Utah is quiet and secluded and there are many trails to hike and mountain bike. There are also dozens of small rivers and lakes to fish. Six Lakes Resort, Falcon’s Ledge Lodge, and Hidden Springs Lodge are perfect lodges and cabins to stay with your family and friends and explore the south slope of the Uinta Mountains. The north slope of the Uinta Mountains is just as beautiful and has endless recreation. The Black’s Fork River Lodge is the perfect place to gather with your family to enjoy a few days of recreation and relaxation while exploring the Uinta Mountains.
Southern Utah also has spectacular scenery and amazing outdoor recreation. The Moab area is well-known for Arches and Canyonlands National Park. It is also known for mountain biking and ATV trails through the red rock hills and canyons. The Slick Rock Lodge in Moab is the perfect gathering lodge for groups exploring Moab on summer vacation. The Kanab area in southern Utah is also known for its red rock summer adventures. The Kanab, Utah area has some of the most spectacular slot canyons and red rock formations in the world. Summer is a great time to explore Kanab and Grand Plateau Lodge is a great place to gather as a family for a few days of relaxation and exploration around Kanab. Saint George, Utah is great for summertime fun and the Saint George River Home is the perfect property for summer groups with two pools and large grass areas to play sports and lawn games. Cliff Dwellers Retreat just north of Saint George is the perfect summer oasis for small groups to enjoy summer recreation around Saint George.
